Please sign this petition to call the United Nations and the Israeli government to allow the Palestinian patients having treatment outside of Gaza: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/save-gaza People in Manchester are volunteering to progress the twinning of Manchester with a Palestinian city. The first meeting agreed that twinning is mainly through mutual twinning relationships between organisations such as schools and colleges, artists, residents associations, football clubs etc. The aims of twinning are to: 1. Raise awareness in Manchester of the situation in a Palestinian place (to be identified) - including understanding of their needs and the current situation; and 2. To give practical help and support in the short and long term - including rapid response to incidents, lobbying, fair trade, fundraising, sending resources such as English books and exchange visits. | Help us develop the Twinning with Palestine network
