Ma'an News Agency (MNA) began operation in December of 2004 and is one of the main projects of the Ma'an Network which was established in 2002 as a non-governmental organization that aims to improve local Palestinian media production.

- www.palestinemonitor.org. Created by the Palestinian Non-Governmental Network (PNGO) and the Health, Development, Information, and Policy Institute (HDIP), the Palestine Monitor seeks to redress the lack of a Palestinian narrative in the media by disseminating information about developments coming from Palestinian civil society. It aims to mobilize people to take action and put pressure on their governments, and thereby on Israel, so as to build a just and durable peace.
