At the August 2008 Twinning with Palestine network meeting, it was decided to focus on the environment and farming with regard to the Twinning speaking tour we arrange to tie in with our annual conference in November each year.

Twelve farmers and Palestinians concerned with the environment will be visiting Britain in November 2008 See below for the programme. The Twinning with Palestine network encourages groups to engage with ordinary Palestinians. and share their daily experiences under Israeli occupation with us.

PALESTINIAN TWINNING SPEAKING TOUR

TWELVE SPEAKERS from Palestine brought by twinning groups across Britain will be speaking at Twinning Network/ Action Palestine meetings across the country in November 2009

Most of them are from towns, villages and universities across the West Bank, but they will be joined by a student from Gaza. They include university students, farmers and others - people bringing points of view from different walks of life about living in Palestine under Israeli occupation. www.twinningwithpalestine.net
